| 1 | | Miami Dolphins | Jake Long | OT | Michigan | 6/7 | 313 | 5.05 | Jake Long Overview Jake Long is just about as well regarded as Joe Thomas was last year. Jake Long is an powerful tackle who also has great pass protection skills. He can play both tackle positions. Jake Long had a strong season senior season: gave up 1 sack all year...to Ohio St. DE standout Vernon Gholston. Jake Long would stabilize the tackle position for the next 10 years for the team who selects him. He also won 2006 & 2007 Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year, and was consensus 2006 & 2007 First-Team All-American. Jake Long was my top overall choice for a couple month's, then I moved him to #2 for about 1 week. He is now once again the likely #1 overall pick, because he could be a great All-Pro OT and his bottom baseline skill set is also very high. The Dolphins have ended all suspense about the pick as they have pre-signed Jake Long. Dolphins Draft Overview The Dolphins are not as bad as their record indicates. Bill Parcells will bring a sense of urgency to the Dolphins. The scouting department will be improved, and look for the Dolphins to address needs on the DL or OL with their 1st round pick.
However, look for trade with the 1st overall pick, odds are with Dallas
who want RB Darren McFadden. However, recently RB Darren McFadden's stock has dropped on some teams draft boards, and he might now be the 2nd RB taken in the draft behind up and coming RB Rashard Mendenhall. This could cause the Cowboys to target a lower pick to get Darren McFadden.
Bill Parcells is hard to get a read on, but DL or OL is a safe bet if the pick stays with Miami. Vernon Gholston is a strong possibility if they can trade down a couple spots.
Free Agency Update: The Miami Dolphins have signed G Justin Smiley, WR Ernest Wilford, LB Charlie Anderson, LB Reggie Torbor, and DT Randy Starks. | Dolphins 2008 Draft Needs OT, DE, DT, CB

Unless a huge turnaround takes place, Scott Linehan is in his last season as a HC. The Rams will probably pursue another HC in the offseason.
The Rams need to address defensive needs or OL with their 1st round pick. The Rams needs a future replacement for Orlando Pace. Pace looks to be on a downslide, and RT Alex Barron has a big upside and solid but might not be a LT.

Chris Long should be a Top 5 lock, might even go 1st overall. Chris Long could be the starting piece for a rebuilding defense, he has great pass rushing skills, and is a solid DE prospect who should succeed at the next level. Chris Long really had a strong season in 2007: 79 tackles, 19 for a loss, 14 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 10 passes broken up and 1 interception. He also won the 2007 Ted Hendricks Defensive End of the Year Award, and was consensus First-Team All-American. Since the Rams needs a DE more than a DT, they take Long over Dorsey. Had good college career,
Glen Dorsey is more of a Warren Sapp type of DT than a true run stopper.
Could go 1st overall, but that depends on who ends up with the 1st overall pick. In 2007, Glenn Dorsey was awarded the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, the Outland Trophy, the Lott Trophy and the Lombardi Award, becoming the only player to have won all four awards. The Falcons decide to take Glenn Dorsey over QB Matt Ryan. The only risk with Dorsey is his injury history. Falcons Draft Overview The Falcons really need a QB, and very well might take one in the 1st Round. The Falcons really need to address their offensive problems,
and should use a day 1 pick on a WR or OL.
New coach Mike Smith might want to start off with a top defensive player
like Vernon Gholston or Chris Long. However, QB situation is so bad....
they need to address sometime during the 1st day of the draft. Matt Ryan with the 3rd pick is a strong possibility, if not they could target QB Joe Flacco or Brian Brohm later on Day 1.
Free Agency Update: The Atlanta Falcons have signed running back Michael Turner to a six-year contract worth $34.5 million, with approximately $15 million guaranteed. This signing was the end of RB Warrick Dunn who was released and signed with Tampa Bay.. The Chiefs really need a QB, and very well might take one in the 1st Round. Look for the Chiefs to take the BPA or look to trade down and accumulate
additional picks with the possible addition of a
younger QB with some experience (Kyle Boller, J.P Losman, etc).
Free Agency Update: The Kansas City Chiefs have franchised DE Jared Allen and signed LB Demorrio Williams and re-signed P Dustin Colquitt. | Chiefs 2008 Draft Needs WR, CB, OG, DT, QB

The Falcons decide to take Glenn Dorsey over QB Matt Ryan. The only risk with Dorsey is his injury history. Buccaneers Draft Overview The Buccaneers just resigned Gruden to an extension.
Gruden is an offensive minded coach, and would like to get a Top WR, RB, or QB to groom for the future.
As Cadillac might be done, look for Chuckie to lobby for a RB. DE Gaines Adams looks like a future Pro-Bowler, especially if he is given some help in the front 7.
The Buccaneers might actually consider taking 2 WR on day one. If the BPA is a WR there in the 2nd or 3rd, they will probably take him regardless of the 1st round selection.
Look for the Buccaneers to consider RB, DL, OL with the 1st pick.

Raiders Draft Overview The Raiders need depth at many positions. The Raiders really need to address their offensive problems, and very well might take a RB or OL
in the 1st Round.
Look for the Lane Kippen - Al Davis feud to be resolved by draft day.
Last years #1 overall QB Jamarcus Russell needs help, but the BPA should be taken for a rebuilding team like the Raiders.
Free Agency Update: The Oakland Raiders have signed S Gibril Wilson T Kwame Harris, WR Javon Walker, franchised CB Nnamdi Asomugha, re-signed RB Justin Fargas, T Cornell Green, and DE Tommy Kelly. | Raiders 2008 Draft Needs OT, OG, DT, RB, WR

Seahawks Draft Overview The Seahawks still miss G Steve Hutchinson.
Shaun Alexander has never been the same since he left. . Look for the Seahawks to consider RB, WR, OL with the 1st pick. I am not sure who the Seahawks #1 WR is: is it Deion Branch...um..NO, D.J. Hackett...um..NO, Nate Burleson....um...HELL NO !
However, they need a #1 WR or TE that can be a vertical threat, and need him this year, as it probably is their last year at a Super Bowl run. Jim Mora Jr will start the rebuilding process next year. Look for the Seahawks to consider WR, OT, TE with the 1st round pick.
Free Agency Update: The Seattle Seahawks have franchised CB Marcus Trufant, signed RB T.J. Duckett, RB Julius Jones, TE Jeb Putzier, G Mike Wahle, and re-signed G Sean Locklear.
The Seattle Seahawks additions of RB Julius Jones and TJ Duckett will lead to a Shaun Alexander trade or release. The Seahawks should be able to get some mid-range pick for him. | Seahawks 2008 Draft Needs OT, DT, TE, RB, WR

Redskins Draft Overview The Redskins are once again rebuilding in a tough division. The Redskins hired Jim Zorn as Head Coach, look for Zorn to quickly analyze the team needs and try to get
the scouting department to select the offensive BPA. QB Jason Campbell looks like the cornerstone to build around, I assume the Redskins would like to use the 1st pick on offensive.
I think the Redskins will stay away from a Safety in the 1st round, just because
the pick then will always been linked as Sean Taylor's replacement. Look for the Redskins to address the secondary needs later in the draft.
Look for the Redskins to consider WR, OL with the 1st pick.

Is an excellent pass rusher with his combination of size, speed, and strength. He can bench press over 450 pounds. Should go in the Top 5, as another team might trade up to get him.
Matt Ryan has the ability to start and be productive from the begining of his first year. Matt Ryan was 2007 ACC Player of the Year, won the 2007 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award,
and really had a good season in 2007 completing 388 of 654 passes for 4507 Yards with 31 TD and 19 INT.
Matt Ryan could go anywhere from the 3rd pick to the 8th pick. I don't think he will drop below 8.
The Chiefs try to trade out of the 5th pick, but don't and they select the QB of their future Matt Ryan . Chiefs Draft Overview The Chiefs need depth at many positions. It will be interesting to see what they do with Derek Anderson or Brady Quinn.
Looking to get back into the 1st round, Anderson might be traded before the draft.
Brady Quinn could also draw interest, but I think the Browns will groom him for QB of the future.
The Browns have a solid foundation for a good team, and should take the BPA. Look for the Browns to consider OL,DL,CB with the 1st pick.

Jets Draft Overview The Jets need help, and should take the BPA in the 1st Round. The Jets might surprise and take a top offensive player like Brian Brohm or Rashard Mendenhall. However, if RB Darren McFadden is still available when the
Jets pick it will be hard for the Jets to pass on him. The Jets could have a few of teams interested
in this pick, because someone will fall out of the Top 5 that another team really wants.

Bengals Draft Overview The Bengals need defensive help, and should take the Defensive BPA in the 1st Round. The Bengals need to resolve the Chad Johnson problem and do not be surprised to see Chad traded around
draft day. The Bengals bring these issues upon themselves with poor character choices in recent drafts.
Look for this pick to be a little more on the cleaner side for the Bengals.
We imagine QB Carson Palmer would love to get out of Ohio with Chad Johnson. However, that will not happen and the Bengals will try to shore up the Defensive side of the ball.
With that in mind it makes the decision to let DE Justin Smith walk away
as a Free Agent is a bit puzzling. The team should take the BPA Defensive player, but might be forced to take the

for the tough inside running in the NFL. Darren McFadden is more a Reggie Bush type of RB, not a Adrian Peterson type of RB. The Jets seem to love Darren McFadden it's too bad he won't be the all around quality back that RB Rashard Mendenhall will become in the NFL. However, due to his speed and hype, Darren McFadden will be a Top 10 pick.
| Seahawks Overall Picks Total Picks: 9 Overall Picks: # 25, # 4, # 6, # 14, # 37, # 56, # 87, # 120, # 160 | | 7 | | New England Patriots | Branden Albert | OG | Virginia | 6/7 | 315 | 5.35 | Branden Albert Overview Branden Albert is a strong guy who ran a 5.22 40 at the combine. Has pushed himself up the boards and could now be the first guard drafted. . Branden Albert could be a LT, and if a team projects him as a OT his draft position will rise. Patriots Draft Overview The Patriots need LB and CB help, and should take the BPA in the 1st Round.
Also, with the need to probably replace CB Asanti Samuel look for a trade for a veteran CB.
The Patriots did not overspend for CB Asanti Samuel, and I don't blame them.
CB Asanti Samuel is, in my opinion, one of the more overrated players in the NFL. Asanti Samuel is good, but the Eagles will probably be disappointed.
The Patriots might trade down with a team like the Vikings for their 1st pick and CB Antionio Winfield. A straight trade (2nd or 3rd Round Pick) with the Vikings for CB Antionio Winfield is also possible.
Free Agency Update: The New England Patriots have re-signed WR Randy Moss, LB Tedy Bruschi, WR Jabar Gaffney, LB Larry Izzo, C Lonie Paxton, WR Kelley Washington, signed CB Jason Webster and WR Sam Aiken, and lost CB Asanti Samuel to the Eagles and WR Donte Stallworth to the Browns. | Patriots 2008 Draft Needs OLB, CB, ILB, OT, S

Browns Draft Overview The Browns have a potential QB controvesy ready to happen in 2008.
Free Agency Update: The Cleveland Browns re-signed QB Derek Anderson, RB Jamal Lewis, WR Donte Stallworth. DT Corey Williams, and traded for DT Shaun Rodgers. | Browns 2008 Draft Needs OG, CB, DE, OT, DT

Good Senior Bowl has him moving up the boards, however combine results disappointed some scouts. Sedrick should be picked in the top part of the 1st Round. Sedrick Ellis was selected to the majority of All-America First-teams. He can bench press over 500 pounds. In 2007, Sedrick Ellis was voted the Pacific 10 Conference Defensive Player of the Year. Ravens Draft Overview The Ravens need offensive help, and should take the BPA in the 1st Round.
The Ravens might trade down and accumulate picks. The Kyle Boller trial period has expired, thus do not be surprised if the Ravens take a QB like Brian Brohm(2nd Round), or Matt Ryan if he falls a few spots.
The Ravens are a hard team to get any idea about, but my guess is that they might go into rebuilding mode. I could be wrong about this, as the Ravens
seem to have a team that can via for a playoff spot, but it will interesting to see how they approach the QB position.
Look for the Ravens to consider QB, OG, OT with the 1st round pick.

Jaguars Draft Overview The Jaguars played well in 2007, look for them to take a step back. New DC Gregg Williams should help build the up an coming defensive unit into a consistent force.
The jury is still out on QB David Garrard, but he performed well during his 1st year as a starter.
Look for the Jaguars to consider OL, WR, LB with the 1st pick.

The team should take the BPA Defensive player, but might be forced to take the
best DL with the 1st pick.
The Bengals organization is a black eye for the new commissioner and the NFL.
Look for the Bengals to consider DT, DE, OT with the 1st round pick.

Packers Draft Overview The Packers played well in 2007, and were 1 game from the Super Bowl. However, look for the Packers to take steps backward. Brett Farve will not play that well again and he might retire, and it seems to me last year was a bit of a fluke.
The Packers defensive is a good unit and can take control of games. They also play in a cupcake division so anything is possible in 2008. QB Aaron Rodgers looks like he can be a starter in the NFL, however if he does not play this year, it seems the Packers do not have faith in him and he will start/play with another team in 2009.

Bills Draft Overview The Bills needs to build thru the draft. The Bills could go in any direction with their 1st pick. Look for the Bills to draft another QB sometime during this years draft.
Bad drafting in the past has hurt the Bills. Bad player evaluations, making bad picks,
and then losing their good players in free agency will set back any team for a decade.
Ideally the Bills would take the defensive BPA. But in all likelyhood the BPA in this position will be an offensive player.
The teams #1 pick is way to high to address needs at LB or S or WR (unless LB Keith Rivers falls to #11). Look for a DL or RB as there could be some highly regarded ones at 11 ! CB is a premium position and Leodis is the best available at this point in the draft. Leodis McKelvin has been moving up the draft boards during the last month. Needs to improve his ball hawking skills, but can press very well. Saints Draft Overview The Saints need defensive help, and should take the BPA in the 1st Round. The Saints need to figure out if the DL Charles Grant stabbing is serious blow to his career.
The Saints have a team that can put up points in a hurry, and a QB that, in my opinion, can win a Super Bowl. RB and WR also seem to be strengths, so improving the OL and improving the OL depth should be a top priority.
Look for the Saints to address the secondary needs in the 2nd and/or 3rd round. The Saints has options but should focus on LB or OL with their 1st pick.
Free Agency Update: The New Orleans Saints have traded for LB Jonathan Vilma, signed DE Bobby McCray, CB Randall Gay, LB Dan Morgan, and re-signed WR Devery Henderson, TE Billy Miller, WR David Patten, LB Mark Simoneau, RB Aaron Stecker, DT Brian Young and K Martin Gramatica. | Saints 2008 Draft Needs CB, WR, S, DT, OG

offensive and an OC looking to take over the HC position in 2009.
I would hope he learns he is no NFL Head Coach and leaves Nolan alone :)
I think Mike Nolan is a good HC, and should be given time to prove so,
but the hiring of Mike Martz can cause friction between coaches, and that can effect the overall team performance.
With the addition of Martz look for the 49ers to consider WR, OL with the 1st pick.
Free Agency Update: The San Francisco 49ers have signed DE Justin Smith, WR Isaac Bruce, RB DeShaun Foster, QB J.T.
Potential franchise LTs are at a premium so he might be considered a bit of a reach.
Chris Williams needs to increase his strength, 21 reps of 225 at the combine is not good. Needs to get more physical. In 2007, Chris Williams was selected to First-team All-SEC. Chris Williams is a smart OT who could be effective from Day 1. Broncos Draft Overview The Broncos might actually jump on a top rated RB and stop the 3rd or 4th RB picks.

Panthers Draft Overview The Panthers are a better team than they showed last year. Look for the Panthers highly consider DL with the 1st pick as insurance to DE Peppers leaving or regressing.
The Panthers might go QB if Brian Brohm or Matt Ryan falls.
Look for the Panthers to consider CB, LB, DE with the 1st round pick.
Free Agency Update: The Carolina Panthers have franchised T Jordan Gross and signed WR Muhsin Muhammad who was released from the Bears, and traded DT Kris Jenkins to the Jets.

Look for the Redskins to consider WR, OL with the 1st pick.

offensive and an OC looking to take over the HC position in 2009.
O Sullivan, LB Dontarrious Thomas, CB Allen Rossum, and re-signed QB Shaun Hill, LB Roderick Green, and DT Isaac Sopoaga. Rashard is a tough kid with
good receiving skills, his older brother Walter is still a RB at Illinois.
My guess is that Rashard is a steal taken anywhere in beyond the 20th pick,
as he should be better in a more normal NFL offensive scheme. Illinois sort
of ran that spread/option offense most of the time. It will be interesting to see what numbers he posts at the combine. Could very well be the 2nd RB taken in the 2008 draft. Rashard Mendenhall is a true 3 down back who could be a very productive NFL RB. However, he had only 1 productive year at Illinois. Bears Draft Overview The Bears are a team in flux. Lovie Smith is an overrated Head Coach,
another season like last year and he is in the Hot Seat.
Look for the Bears to consider QB & RB with the 1st pick. Looks like the Bears have soured on Cedric Benson. Bears will also consider local standout RB Rashard Mendenhall.
Re-signing Lance Briggs should alter the Bears draft plans.
Look for the Bears to consider RB, OT, OG, LB with the 1st round pick.

of ran that spread/option offense most of the time. It will be interesting to see what numbers he posts at the combine. Could very well be the 2nd RB taken in the 2008 draft. Rashard Mendenhall is a true 3 down back who could be a very productive NFL RB. However, he had only 1 productive year at Illinois.
| Saints 2008 Draft Needs CB, WR, S, DT, OG

good receiving skills, his older brother Walter is still a RB at Illinois.

Lions Draft Overview The Lions are a team in need of consistent leadership. Mike Martz has moved his annoying ego to San Fran.
Consistent offensive and a better defensive will make this team a playoff contender. Look for the Lions to consider anything with the 1st pick.
The Lions usually takes the BPA and ignores needs, especially on Day 1. Look for the Lions to consider CB, OG, RB, DE with the 1st round pick.

Texans Draft Overview The Texans are a team on the rise but play in a tough division. Mario Williams is the next great pass rusher in the NFL, and building around him or solidifying the OL should be the top priority. If Andre Johnson can stay healthy next year the Texans should greatly improve the offensive production.
The Texans were blasted in the media and from fans for not taking RB Reggie Bush or QB Vince Young as the top pick in the 2006 Draft. However, making DE Mario Williams the first pick of the 2006 Draft might have been the pick that turned the Texans franchise around. Also, with starting CB Duanta Robinson out for at least part of next year look for the Texans to highly consider secondary help with the first round pick.
Look for the Texans to address the offensive line needs in the 2nd and/or 3rd round. Look for the Texans to consider CB or OL with the 1st pick.

Giants Draft Overview The Giants won the 2007 Super Bowl and Eli Manning looked like he turned the QB corner. However, look for the Giants to have a 2008-2009 hangover. The Giants are in discussions with the Falcons about trading this pick for CB Deangelo Hall.
The Giants need to provide better protection for QB Eli Manning, and find secondary depth.
Look for the Giants to consider OL, CB, S with the 1st pick.

Cardinals Draft Overview The Cardinals are a team on the rise and should be a playoff contender. Look for the Cardinals to consider any top defensive player or OL with the 1st pick.
The Cardinals have a good set of skilled offensive players and should be able to put up points in 2008. Look for the Cardinals to consider OG, DE, CB with the 1st round pick.

Clady has excellent pass protection skills. Ryan Clady is considered one of the top OT prospects. Poor Wonderlic score could hurt him. Chargers Draft Overview The Chargers played well in 2007, and were 1 game from the Super Bowl. QB Phillip Rivers needs to mature for the team to remain a powerhouse in the NFL.
The Chargers have the pieces to be Super Bowl contenders for the next couple of years. They need to take the BPA. Look for the Chargers to consider OL, WR, S with the 1st pick.

Clady has excellent pass protection skills. Ryan Clady is considered one of the top OT prospects. Poor Wonderlic score could hurt him. 49ers Draft Overview The 49ers welcome Mike Martz as the 2008 OC, look for a more electric
offensive and an OC looking to take over the HC position in 2009.
Free Agency Update: The San Francisco 49ers have signed DE Justin Smith, WR Isaac Bruce, RB DeShaun Foster, QB J.T. in this pick, because someone will fall out of the Top 5 that another team really wants.
This pick and possible trades for this pick could determine

It would not surprise me at all to see the Titans take steps backward this year. Vince Young will be pressured by other teams front seven and will not be able to react in a manner that results in a positive outcome. Look for the Titans to consider OL, WR with the 1st pick.

Kevin Kolb might start the rebuilding process in 2008 for the Eagles which indirectly should lead to the end of the Andy Reid era. That era should have been stopped a while back. Why is Andy Reid is still coaching the Eagles ? Former Eagle OC Brad Childress is a better HC than Reid...
Also, like the past few years the Eagles once again need help at WR. Look for the Eagles to consider WR, DE or OL with the 1st pick.

The Falcons really need to address their offensive problems,

New coach Mike Smith might want to start off with a top defensive player
like Vernon Gholston or Chris Long. However, QB situation is so bad....
they need to address sometime during the 1st day of the draft. Matt Ryan with the 3rd pick is a strong possibility, if not they could target QB Joe Flacco or Brian Brohm later on Day 1.

Free Agency Update: The Philadelphia Eagles have signed CB Asanti Samuel, DE Chris Clemons, franchised TE L.J. Smith, and re-signed S J.R. Reed. | Eagles 2008 Draft Needs S, ILB, DE, DT, WR

Should have waited for the 2009 Draft. Phillip Merling is a good all-around lineman, but needs to improve his pass rushing skills.
The team should take the BPA Defensive player, but might be forced to take the
best DL with the 1st pick.
The Bengals organization is a black eye for the new commissioner and the NFL.
Look for the Bengals to consider DT, DE, OT with the 1st round pick.
Free Agency Update: The Cincinnati Bengals have franchised OT Stacy Andrews and lost DE Justin Smith to the 49ers and S Madieu Williams to the Vikings. The Cincinnati Bengals have signed DE Antwan Odom and re-signed WR Antonio Chatman, and LB Dhani Jones. | Bengals 2008 Draft Needs OG, DE, OT, DT, TE

Stewart is probably the most complete RB in the draft, and could be a top back in the NFL. At this time, Jonathan Stewart upside just is as great as Darren McFadden's or Rashard Mendenhall's. However, recent injury concerns are currently surrounding him. Cowboys Draft Overview The Cowboys were disappointed in the post season after a 13-3 record in the regular season. RB Juluis Jones is gone, and RB Marion Barber is looking for a big deal.
Look for the Cowboys to consider WR, S, RB with the 1st pick. It would surprise me if the Cowboys did not take a WR with one of their two 1st round picks.
Look for the Cowboys to address the offensive line needs in the 2nd and/or 3rd round.
Look for the Cowboys to consider OT, WR, RB with the 1st pick.

However, recent injury concerns are currently surrounding him. Vikings Draft Overview Look for the Vikings to buck their normal FA methods and go after some big Free Agent signings this year. The signing of WR Berrard Berrian will alter the 2008 draft plans and give the Vikings a deep threat to take pressure off RB Adrian Peterson, and put pressure on QB Tavaris Jackson to throw good deep passes and spread the ball around.
The Vikings are a team in need of consistent QB play. Brad Childress
has about turned this team into a playoff contender, and the Vikings even humiliated the Super Bowl champs in the 2nd half of last season. If the Vikings had a consistent pass rush they could be a top team.
WR Troy Williamson didn't panned out, and was traded for a 2nd day pick. Sydney Rice is a good possession WR, but lacks a little speed. With former #1 pick DE Kenechi Udeze recent disclosure that he has a form of leukemia,
DE has moved up the prioity list for the Vikings.
Look for the Vikings to consider DL, WR, or S with the 1st pick.
Free Agency Update: The Minnesota Vikings have signed WR Bernard Berrian from the division rival Bears, RB Maurice Hicks, FB Thomas Tapeh, and highly regarded S Madieu Williams from the Bengals. | Vikings 2008 Draft Needs DE, CB, QB, OT, WR

However, recent injury concerns are currently surrounding him.

Probably a good move on his part to come out early. Combine Update: Jerod Mayo checked into the combine at 6-1,1/4, 242 pounds, 40 yard dash 4.56, and 32 vertical jump. Steelers Draft Overview The Steelers are a team hard to figure out. HC Mike Tomlin did a decent job last year, it will be interesting to see if he can keep the team focused and build upon last years performance.
There seems to some type of issue with Ben Roethlisberger and Hines Ward, look for that to be resolved by training camp. Look for the Steelers to consider CB, OL with the 1st pick.
They need to add protection for Willie Parker injury.
Free Agency Update: The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to a eight-year $102 million contract, and lost G Alan Faneca to the Jets. The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed RB Mewelde Moore, LB Keyaron Fox and resigned DE Travis Kirschke.

However, Vince Young's inability to read defenses and throw to the correct WR will come back to bite the Titans.
It would not surprise me at all to see the Titans take steps backward this year. Vince Young will be pressured by other teams front seven and will not be able to react in a manner that results in a positive outcome. Look for the Titans to consider OL, WR with the 1st pick.
They needs to replace Lendale White and keep him away for Vince Young.

and should use a day 1 pick on a WR or OL.
| Seahawks Overall Picks Total Picks: 9 Overall Picks: # 25, # 4, # 6, # 14, # 37, # 56, # 87, # 120, # 160 | | 25 | | Miami Dolphins | Felix Jones | RB | Arkansas | 6/1 | 207 | 4.4 | Felix Jones Overview McFadden backup who is very versatile. Has skills but is a little unproven.
Combine will solidify his position or make him a 3rd or 4th rounder.

Ideally the Bills would take the defensive BPA. But in all likelyhood the BPA in this position will be an offensive player.

Kentwan Balmer will be picked higher than he grades out because the dropoff of DT's after him is significant. 49ers Draft Overview The 49ers welcome Mike Martz as the 2008 OC, look for a more electric
offensive and an OC looking to take over the HC position in 2009.

The Giants are in discussions with the Falcons about trading this pick for CB Deangelo Hall.
The Giants need to provide better protection for QB Eli Manning, and find secondary depth.
Look for the Giants to consider OL, CB, S with the 1st pick.

| Giants Overall Picks Total Picks: 12 Overall Picks: # 32, # 29, # 15, # 45, # 60, # 64, # 96, # 91, # 130, # 167, # 195, # 199 | | 29 | | New York Jets | Kentwan Balmer | DT | North Carolina | 6/5 | 282 | 5.05 | Kentwan Balmer Overview Could go higher with a good combine. Good in either the 3-4 or 4-3. Has football intelligence. Kentwan Balmer will be picked higher than he grades out because the dropoff of DT's after him is significant.
This pick and possible trades for this pick could determine
the flow of the next 5-10 picks. Look for the Jets to address the secondary needs in the 2nd and/or 3rd round.
Look for the Jets to consider CB, OG, RB, WR with the 1st round pick.

Jackson is a good route runner with excellent speed. At the combine, DeSean Jackson looked fragile and too small for the NFL. But showed excellent speed.
Look for the Packers to consider OL, WR, RB with the 1st pick.
Free Agency Update: The Green Bay Packers have lost DT Corey Williams. | Packers 2008 Draft Needs WR, RB, DT, CB, TE

Jackson is a good route runner with excellent speed. At the combine, DeSean Jackson looked fragile and too small for the NFL. But showed excellent speed. Titans Draft Overview The Titans should improve in 2008 as a team.
Free Agency Update: The Tennessee Titans have franchised DT Albert Haynesworth and signed DE Jevon Kearse, TE Alge Crumpler, G Jake Scott, WR Justin McCareins, and re-signed WR Justin Gage. | Titans 2008 Draft Needs WR, OT, OG, DE, CB
| Titans Overall Picks Total Picks: 13 Overall Picks: # 24, # 30, # 17, # 62, # 55, # 86, # 94, # 134, # 123, # 126, # 159, # 190, # 221 | | 30 | | Minnesota Vikings | DeSean Jackson | WR | California | 6/1 | 172 | 4.45 | DeSean Jackson Overview DeSean Jackson is a little raw but he will be a 1st Round pick in the 2008 draft. Jackson is a good route runner with excellent speed. At the combine, DeSean Jackson looked fragile and too small for the NFL. But showed excellent speed.
